Deactivating your Facebook account does not permanently delete it. Other users won’t be able to see your profile but may see messages you’ve sent. You can still chat with friends if you have Messenger.
Do accounts get deleted after inactivity?
Accounts not used in at least two years could be deleted under Google’s updated inactive-account policy. To keep your account active, sign in at least once every two years or engage in activities like emailing, using Google search, or watching YouTube videos signed in to your Google account. Only personal Google accounts unused for two years will be affected.
